Entry Requirements

To gain admission into the Education Political Science program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Undergraduate Entry:

  1. UTME Admission:

    • Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE or equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Government or History, and two other relevant subjects.

    • Acceptable UTME score in relevant subjects.

  2. Direct Entry Admission:

    • NCE, OND, or equivalent with at least a merit pass in Political Science or related discipline.

    • Minimum of two (2) A-Level passes in relevant subjects.

Postgraduate Entry:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Political Science Education or a related field with at least a second-class lower division.

  • NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
