B.Sc. (Ed.) Business Education

Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education (AIFCE) offers a dynamic and comprehensive B.Sc. Course Structure

The B.Sc. (Ed.) Business Education program spans four years, offering a well-balanced curriculum that combines business, education, and practical teaching modules. Students engage in courses such as:

  • Core Business Courses: Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, and Business Law.

  • Education Courses: Principles of Teaching, Curriculum Development, Educational Psychology, and Classroom Management.

  • Practical Teaching Experience: Students participate in supervised teaching practice, internships, and workshops to apply theoretical knowledge in real classroom and business environments.

Entry Requirements

To qualify for admission into the B.Sc. (Ed.) Business Education program at AIFCE, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • SSCE/WAEC/NECO: A minimum of five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and relevant business-related subjects.

  • UTME: Candidates must select Business Education as their course of study and meet the university’s cut-off mark for the year.

  • Direct Entry: Candidates with relevant NCE qualifications in Education or business-related disciplines may apply, provided they meet the minimum requirements.
