BRIEF PROFILE OF THE DEAN OF FACULTY SOCIAL AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES

Dr.Ezinne Okoroafor, the Dean of Faculty, Social and Management Sciences, Alvan Ikoku Federal University ofEducation, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria is a citizen of Nigeria from  Abia State. She  has served in several capacities in the University- as head of department for six (6)  tenures, Co-ordinator, College Timetable Unit, 
A Fellow in the  Directorate of Alvan Volunteer Services that  is involved in the retraining of teachers on the 21ststb Century methodological trend for leveraging education from grass-root to the top of the academic ladder... 
Resource person under the MGDs/UBE/NTI-“Train the Trainer” Retraining Teacher Development programme; Resource Persons/Facilitator – SURE-P Graduate Internship Programme;  Consultancy Capacity ( State Supervisor)- UNITED NATIONS SYSTEM Baseline/End line Survey/Report System in Imo State

 

 

A Fellow of several Professional bodies such as Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, (TRCN);Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Teachers Oath of Allegiance;. Nigerian National Council For Adult Education (NNCAE); Association of Nigerian Geographers (ANG); Nigerian Environment Society (NES);  Environment Behaviour Association of Nigeria (EBAN); External Examiner Nwafor Oritzu College of Education, Nsugbe, Anambra State
She has published numerous research papers in Nigeria and International Scientific Journals in her field of specialization. She has also contributed chapters to various edited books published in Nigeria and Overseas. She is author of many textbooks.
